Seeing Green at Lollapalooza

Seeing Green at Lollapalooza

Lollapalooza goes green again this year with an array of eco-friendly options for attendees. Browse the Green Street Market for unique clothing, jewelry and art from earth-friendly vendors. Here’s a sneak peek at just a few of the merchants on board this year:

  • Futurgarb sells eco-friendly products selected from all over the world. Stylish and sustainable products include wallets, necklaces, scarves and purses. They also sell an impressive variety of men and women’s clothing at their Wicker Park storefront. Check out their booth to purchase some unique green gifts.
  • Artist Michael Michael Motorcycle creates colorful paintings, music posters and illustrations. He uses 100% recyclable cotton paper and environmentally friendly inks for all of his hand-crafted prints, and he makes a conscious effort to reduce waste and water use throughout the entire printing process.
  • Demographic is a local apparel company that designs T-shirts to coincide with various ideas or issues. For example, the “Concerned” T-shirt design depicts the alarming increase of CO2 in the atmosphere, and the “Vegetarian” design portrays a human digestive system creatively made out of vegetables.

Be sure to also check out the Lolla Farmers Market, where local farmers will be on hand to share the fruits of their labor.
